Dave's Dug Out:

I know this sounds crazy but its almost time to start thinking about winterizing your home.  A great place to start, blocking the leaks.  This will save on your energy bill and save you some money to buy more Christmas presents.  On a windy day, light an incense stick and walk around your doors, windows, and electrical outlets. Use door sweeps to render the problem.  Also, check the outside of your home and use caulk but make sure to use masonry sealer around brick exterior.  Have a great weekend!

Joe's Jargon:

I agree with Dave!  It is now time to think about getting our yards ready for fall/winter.  First thing, clean out the cutters, not a fun job but very important.  It is not time to put the garden hoses away just yet, but make sure you do have your proper tools needed to cover the outside faucets.  Make sure you rake leaves out of outside pools, flower beds, and ponds.  Fall is a good time to get all weeds up and reseed the area for a better looking lawn come next spring.  Have a great weekend!
