Dave's Dug Out:
Did you know that mulch in the fall can help stabilize winter roots? Mulch can help with weed control and help with moisture and helps with your soil and provides a habitat for earth worms in which they help turn your soil. Make sure you remove old mulch before applying new mulch and apply 2-4 inches deep, but make sure when you apply the new mulch please keep it 3-6 inches away from building foundations and away from the base of trees and shrubs. Happy mulching! Have a great weekend-

Joe's Jargon:
I know you have heard about the invasion of bed beds sweeping the United States. If you travel allot or have recently bought used furniture, please check your home. Bed bugs are easily seen and they have a flat body and a reddish brown color. If you think you may have bed bugs and if you can afford to replace your mattress, please do so. If you cannot afford to do so, vacuum your mattress thoroughly and apply a sealable cover to the mattress. Also wash all clothes, linens, and bedding in hot water and then immediately vacuum the area. Everyone have a great weekend!
